All staff, including volunteers and visitors, at Crisp Vocational Provision are expected to take all welfare concerns seriously and to encourage children and young people to speak openly about anything that may be worrying them. We are committed to always acting in the best interests of the child.
If you have concerns about a child’s welfare, you should record the concern as soon as possible, including any observations made or conversations overheard, and report it to one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) on the same day. You must not conduct your own investigation.
If your concern relates to the Headteacher, or if you are unable to contact a DSL, please refer to the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, which is available on our Policies page.
