Who we are
Located in Bulwell, Nottingham, we are an alternative provision that offers young people the opportunity to participate in personalised learning sessions, which are tailored to the specific needs of the young person with their school or referrer.
What we Do
Small group sizes provide the learners with a unique learning experience, which allows them to carry out practical activities in a safe working environment. The learners are under close supervision enabling them to develop their skills within the Construction, Creative Media (E-Sports and Music), Art, Sport, Catering and the Motor Industry. We also deliver PSHE sessions to our young people.
A Functional Skills Programme can be added to the learners curriculum where they access English and Maths sessions on a daily basis.
Pathways include long term and short term placements which are accredited through IMI or BTEC . Courses offered to year 8 through to year 11.
We offer the Duke of Edinburgh award and run sessions daily for learners and our timetable is structured so that students access a broad and balanced curriculum that is motivating and engaging for them.
The provision also offers weekly enrichment sessions to promote positive behaviour and progression. Additionally a Preparing for Work Programme is embedded into the curriculum, we also support individuals with career support; planning the next steps and equipping our students for the skills they will need to thrive for live after CVP.
