1/2. Our weekly basketball session in action! π 3/4/5. Students have been busy in catering cooking up a storm. One student made Caribbean fried dumplings β crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Delicious! π§βπ³ 6. Last week our football team performed brilliantly at the AP football tournament, making it all the way to the semi-finals. Fantastic effort! β½ 7/8. Students enjoyed the sunshine with a walk to our friends at @alternative.acres . A big thank you to Gemma for having us! βοΈ 9/10. In art, students have been creating mood boards on the theme of masks from around the world as part of their BTEC Art qualification π¨ 11/12/13. During form time this week, students have been competing to see which form group can build the longest domino run!

This week, 20 of our students achieved an incredible 100% attendance - attending every single one of their placement days with us at Crisp!
To keep the momentum going, weβre holding an β100% Attendance Challengeβ over the next two weeks. Any student who attends all of their placement days will earn a reward of their choice - including gift vouchers, fast food treats and extra tuck shop.

After a restful half term, students have got stuck straight back into it, particularly in Mechanics with Kev, as they work towards their Level 1 IMI Vehicle Maintenance qualification.
This week, they focused on workshop practice by gaining a solid introduction of new tools, equipment and safe working procedures.

We couldnβt be prouder of our student for an amazing effort at the FutureChef Regional Finals! Competing in a high-pressure, professional kitchen alongside eight other competitors, he stayed focused and gave it his absolute best.

Last Thursday, Rachel and one of our incredibly talented students headed to Denewood Academy for a special training session ahead of the Future Chef Regional Finals!
They whipped up an amazing spicy burger with chips and a delicious strawberry cheesecake; all while working alongside a professional chef who shared expert tips and tricks to help them shine in the competition.

This week, students worked together to analyse real job adverts, identifying key skills and information needed for an effective CV.
